The world is full of amazing toys to play with, but none of them truly compares to how kids—and even adults—can use their imaginations when they play. Tokyo-based company Moff, Inc. wants to encourage imaginative adventures with a new piece of wearable tech that transforms anything you hold into a toy.
The Moff band is a wearable smart toy that was funded earlier this year on Kickstarter. It works by reacting to the gestures you make. The sounds come from the band’s Bluetooth connection to your iOS device, on which the company’s Moff app should be running. The app offers a variety of sounds to choose from, like ninja, magic, and cooking. The band plays sounds depending on what you choose and how you move.

According to Moff’s Kickstarter, there are plans to integrate the device with Android through the Android Wear development platform. The videos Moff has shared of kids playing with the device show some of the ways it reacts to movement.
The Moff bands don’t come cheap. The device, which was first released in Japan, is available for purchase in the U.S. at a price of $54.99.
