Thanks to Cyber Monday, Hulu plans are the cheapest they’ve ever been for new subscribers. New users can gain access to a Hulu subscription for as little as $1.99/month–that’s less than $24 for the year!
Here’s the deal: when you go to sign up, new users will be prompted to pick a plan–No or Limited Commercials. The advertised $1.99/mo. price is exclusive to Hulu’s basic plan, which grants you access to everything on Hulu (including its original series like The Handmaid’s Tale), with limited commercial interruptions. After your first year, you can either choose to cancel the subscription no questions asked (although, we don’t know why you would) or continue with the service for $5.99/mo.
The $1.99 deal applies to new customers only. If you took advantage of last year’s Hulu Black Friday deal, you will unfortunately not be eligible for this year’s discount. This promotion runs through December 2.
But if you don’t like being forced to watch even a handful of ads, users can choose to sign up for Hulu’s No Commercials plan and get the first month free (after that it’s $11.99/month). Not sure which plan is right for you? Confer with our Hulu plans comparison guide.
And unlike other streaming services (like Amazon Prime Channels and Netflix), Hulu’s app is available on the Nintendo eShop–in addition to being supported by mobile browsers, app stores, and smart TVs. Which makes it easy to get the most out of your subscription costs, and all the more reason to finally cut the cord.
