Are you already bored of the awesome Mario Kart 8? If so, there’s a new Mario Kart game coming to the U.S. by the end of the year, but in this case you’ll have to trek over to your local arcade to get into the racing action.

Mario Kart Arcade GP DX is already an incredibly popular arcade racer not made by Nintendo, but by the folks over at Bandai/Namco. The game introduces a new cooperative system that includes the ability to fuse two karts together. Much like the fusions done in Dragon Ball Z, when two cooperative players hit each other, they can fuse together to make a brand new kart. One player drives while the other shoots projectiles. It’s a pretty imaginative feature for a game that already features a talking mushroom driving next to a giant gorilla.

The roster of characters includes classics such as Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Toad, Bowser, and Donkey Kong. But since it is a Bandai/Namco production, it would be amiss if it didn’t include some of its own properties. Also making their Mario Kart debut are Pac-Man, and Don-Chan from Taiko No Tatsujin.
