In fact, Amazon has roughly twice as many movies as its next four competitors combined. Per a ReelGood report, Amazon Prime Video holds 14,210 films in its growing catalog, with the next highest total being Netflix’s 3,803 movies. Hulu currently sits in third place with only 1,437. HBO Now has 926 movies. Disney+ will debut with an estimated 500+ films within the first year after launch. Showtime surprisingly lingers at 489 movies.

Even more impressive than the quantity of Amazon’s film catalog is its quality. Of its robust library, 2,250 movies—or 15.8%—hold a minimum IMDb rating of 6.0 or higher.

Amazon also leads in total TV shows with 2,317 available. However, Netflix and Hulu provide close competition with 1,966 shows and 1,931 shows, respectively. HBO Now and Showtime trail considerably. AppleTV+ is debuting with just nine original shows on Nov. 1.
