Over the past two days, the political world has been aflutter over the news that an anonymous official filed a whistleblower complaint with the intelligence community’s inspector general over President Donald Trump’s conduct with a foreign leader.
Speculation ran rampant. Was it over Trump’s dealings with Putin? What about Kim Jong-un?
While just about everyone had a theory, Rudy Giuliani, former lawyer to Trump and late-night poster, just decided to disclose what he knew on Twitter in the wake of a Washington Post report saying these secret dealings focused on Trump’s interactions with Ukraine.
Ukraine has been at the center of some U.S. 2020 drama, as Giuliani recently planned a trip there to try and unearth information about an alleged secret deal between Democratic front-runner Joe Biden, his son Hunter, and a Ukrainian gas company. Giuliani and others allege Biden got a prosecutor investigating collusion fired to help out his son. (Giuliani canceled the trip after news of it broke.)
Thursday, in the wake of the news, Giuliani went on Chris Cuomo’s CNN show to deny news of Trump’s possible dealings with Ukraine and Biden. Giuliani said that he did not ask Ukraine to investigate Biden. A moment later, he changed that answer.
“Of course I did,” he said.
(That video is long, the exchange begins at 6:50.)

But did Trump ask Ukraine to investigate Biden? Well actually, that question didn’t linger for long, because later Giuliani just straight-up admitted it on Twitter.
The Dem owned media is going crazy over Ukraine. But first let them report how the VP Biden bribed the Pres. of Ukraine to fire the prosecutor investigating collusion with Hillary and Biden’s son taking millions from a corrupt oligarch, after billions from China.

A President telling a Pres-elect of a well known corrupt country he better investigate corruption that affects US is doing his job. Maybe if Obama did that the Biden Family wouldn’t have bilked millions from Ukraine and billions from China; being covered up by a Corrupt Media.

“A President telling a Pres-elect of a well known corrupt country he better investigate corruption that affects US is doing his job,” Guiliani wrote.
Which likely answers the question about what this drama was all about that put D.C. in a buzz, though Giuliani is still denying he did so at the behest of the president.
But the whistleblower complaint alleged a “promise” Trump made to a foreign leader, and the Trump administration has been withholding military funds to Ukraine, which was only released after news of it sparked bipartisan outrage.
