Elizabeth Warren Quiet Car Working Families Party Endorsement

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), a 2020 Democratic hopeful vying for the party’s nomination for president, locked up an important endorsement from a progressive group on Monday and shared a video of her celebrating it—while in the quiet car of a train.

The Working Families Party endorsed Warren on Monday, the New York Times reports. The group had previously endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in the 2016 primary, according to the news outlet.

A spokesperson for the group told the Times that “tens of thousands” of its members endorsed Warren.

The endorsement clearly pleased Warren as she looks to cement herself among the top candidates to try and take on President Donald Trump during the 2020 election.

On Monday, the Massachusetts senator tweeted a video of her reacting to the news by throwing her arms up in the air and mouthing “yeah!” before holding up a laptop showing the endorsement.

“What cheering in the Quiet Car looks like. Thanks @WorkingFamilies!” Warren tweeted.

While many people were pleased with Warren getting the endorsement, a bunch of others seemed more excited about the respect the senator showed adhering to quiet car etiquette on a train.
