Fans are ecstatic that a new photo has emerged showing YouTuber Eugenia Cooney amid her months-long break from the internet to focus on her health.
Cooney’s followers have been worried about her since rumors of her death began circulating earlier this year, and many have speculated in the past several years that she might have an eating disorder. In February, Cooney wrote on Twitter, “Hi guys! I appreciate the concern. I’m taking a break from social media and voluntarily working on this with my doctor privately. Please respect that.”
In January, she apologized for her absence on YouTube and dispelled the rumor that she had died.
Hey guys! I’ve been offline for a while and I’m sooo sorry if I worried anyone! That was not my intention at all. I’ve just been taken a much needed break from the negativity and having some positive time offline. I’ll be back soon! :)

btw I’m so sorry people make up such crazy stuff, but I am alive and definitely not dead. I was really surprised to hear that was going around about me, but everything is fine!

“Btw I’m so sorry people make up such crazy stuff, but I am alive and definitely not dead,” she wrote at the time. “I was really surprised to hear that was going around about me, but everything is fine!”
In her absence, rumors about Cooney’s health and comments about her body still circulated. Early this year, YouTube star Keemstar tweeted a photo of Erika Costell, writing “Eugenia Cooney 2019.”
That led Jake Paul—Costell’s ex-boyfriend—to call him “a piece of trash” for his apparent body-shaming of both Costell and Cooney.
still body shaming in 2019?

Cooney hadn’t been heard from since February. But her hairstylist posted a photo of Cooney on Instagram late last week.

Fellow YouTubers and Cooney’s fans couldn’t have been happier. Keemstar commented that Cooney is “doing really good right now.”
