There’s a trove of subwoofer orgasm videos on YouTube

Well, at least there’s one reason to listen to EDM.

Remember that scene in the Howard Stern biopic where one of his callers sits on a giant soundsystem, turns the bass up, and brings herself to orgasm to the sound of his voice? Apparently inspired by that iconic cinematic moment, a slew of young American women have spawned a new YouTube trend: subwoofer orgasm videos.

If you search for “bass orgasm,” “subwoofer orgasm,” or “sound system orgasms,” you pull up a series of videos of attractive young women sitting in cars and being brought to orgasm by the sound systems. What happens is as follows: a dude turns on an EDM song or something of that nature, and the vibrations produced by the bass cause the women to writhe around, toss their hair sexily, and pant like dehydrated corgis. (Despite what the titles suggest, it’s unclear whether they’re actually brought to climax.)

Although all of these videos are pretty much exactly as described above, there are a few subtle variations. Here, for instance, is “Super Bass Orgasm.” The best part of the video is how nonchalant the crowd seems to be about the woman in the car, like, “There’s Patti, listening to Skrillex and having an orgasm again. Hey, when’s Bobby supposed to be coming by with the Natty Light?”

And here’s “Bass Causes ‘Exuberating Orgasms.’”

The same guy also made this clip, which leads me to believe this man purchased an elaborate sound system for the express purpose of driving around, picking up women, and getting them off in his car (hey, no judgment):

There’s also this.

And this.

My one quibble with these videos is…actually, there is no quibble. This looks totally awesome. Ladies, go pick up a dude with a pimped-out Chevy S-10, slide into the front seat, crank the volume up to 11 and let your freak flags fly.
