By now, it’s a well-known fact that Ariana Grande won’t be performing at the Grammys on Sunday. But the pop star tweeted Thursday with some tea about how she didn’t back out for the reasons Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich has stated.

Ehrlich told the Associated Press last week that while the two had started negotiations for this weekend’s show, Grande ultimately dropped out because “she felt it was too late for her to pull something together for sure.”

In her response, Grande didn’t mince words. “[I]’ve kept my mouth shut but now you’re lying about me,” she tweeted Thursday. She asserted that both she and Ehrlich are well aware that she can whip together a show overnight, and that “it was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend.”

Grande went on to claim she offered Ehrlich three different songs for the performance. “[I]t’s about collaboration. it’s about feeling supported. it’s about art and honesty. not politics. not doing favors or playing games. it’s just a game y’all.. and i’m sorry but that’s not what music is to me.”

Along with a totally-not-salty heart emoji, she also tweeted “i hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more.”

Twitter users flooded her post with reactions and memes. One person declared that, “Ariana just ended the Grammys, she did THAT.”

Variety previously reported that Grande was not only ditching the performance but the ceremony entirely after feuding with producers about which songs she could include. After initially refusing to add her new single “7 Rings”—which has already stirred up some controversy—the producers reportedly relented on the condition they could choose her second tune. It was the final straw for Grande, who essentially said “thank you, next.”

Despite pulling out of the performance, several billboards and advertisements for the Grammys still sport Grande’s image. This fact doesn’t sit well with her team, Variety reports.

Present or not, Grande’s competing for two Grammys on Sunday, one for best pop solo performance with “God Is a Woman” and the other for best pop vocal album with Sweetener.
