With temperatures in Australia hovering around 42 degrees Celsius (about 108 degrees Fahrenheit), Twitch streamer KnightSinclair decided to beat the heat and wear a minimal amount of clothing on a recent broadcast. But after some people in her chat reportedly told her to cover herself with more clothes, she exploded in anger.
When she realized what her followers were writing in the chat, she went into a justified rant.
“What the fuck, why is chat going crazy?” she said as she walked around the room. “It is 42 degrees, cunt. I’m allowed to not wear clothes. I’m allowed to. I’m fucking allowed to. Normally I wear fucking clothes. I wear clothes most of the fucking time.”
KnightSinclair—who has more than 17,000 Twitch followers—said she doesn’t currently have air conditioning, so she had to try to cool off somehow. So, she decided to wear only a short dress. But she apparently didn’t expect the chat room to make comments about her wardrobe choice.
“Take me being a little bit less clothed and expect me to be not a ‘thot,’” she said, invoking the derogatory term directed toward some female streamers who are accused of wear revealing clothing to gain more followers. “I’m allowed to not wear clothes. Now, will you donate to me?”
Despite the popularity of that clip—nearly 200,000 people have viewed it on Reddit—KnightSinclair knows one thing that’ll help her in the blazing temperatures. And it’s not the chilliness displayed by some of her followers.
