It wasn’t even a particularly good fake.

Seattle Fox affiliate Q13 aired doctored video of President Donald Trump, according to the Seattle Times.

The video shows Trump sticking his tongue out during pauses in his border wall speech he gave on Tuesday, instead of speaking. The president is also shown with a significantly more orange hue than he has in real life.

The doctored video shows Trump licking his lips when, during the speech, he actually said, “Some have suggested a barrier is immoral.”

“This does not meet our editorial standards and we regret if it is seen as portraying the president in a negative light,” Q13 news director Erica Hill told the Seattle Times in an emailed statement.

Q13 fired a staff member for their role in the incident, although little information is known about the individual.

We’ve completed our investigation into this incident and determined that the actions were the result of an individual editor whose employment has been terminated,” Hill told the Seattle Times Thursday.

Cable news networks were criticized for airing the speech, the first Oval Office speech of Trump’s tenure. During the speech, Trump requested funding for a proposed border wall and made repeated claims about the danger to the southern U.S. border.

We are out of space to hold them, and we have no way to promptly return them back home to their country,” Trump claimed about migrants arriving in the U.S. He also said that a recently-negotiated trade deal with Mexico would pay for the wall, even though he initially claimed Mexico itself would pay for the wall.

Trump is considering declaring a national emergency over the wall, and the White House apparently asked the Army Corps of Engineers about diverting disaster funds to pay for the wall.

A current partial government shutdown over funding for the border wall is now the longest in history, with many federal employees working without pay.

The Daily Dot reached out to Q13 and Hill for comment but did not receive a response by press time.
