YouTube Guide: Amy Poehler loves you, Boston

The conversation turned to Boston on the latest “Ask Amy” as Amy Poehler struggled to answer a 16-year-old girl’s question on how to avoid awful (and violent) videos. “I feel like my eyes need a break, don’t you?” she asked as she asserted that we can look away from what everyone else is showing.

2) Canadian Space Agency, “Wringing out Water on the ISS – for Science!”

The Internet’s coolest astronaut is back to demonstrating different aspects of life aboard the International Space Station for science. This time he’s wringing out a soaking wet wash cloth, and it becomes a tube of water and sticks to his hand when he lets go.

3) MoabMonkeys, “Sketchy Andy’s World Record Highline”

Andy Lewis (perhaps better known as Sketchy Andy) broke the world record for walking across the world’s longest highline in Moab, Utah. He walked across the 80 meter highline and celebrated by parachuting down to the bottom of the mountains.

4) OnlyLeigh, “TV BdayPALOOZA”

For her husband Oren’s birthday, Israeli animator Leigh Lahav recreated 12 different television theme song sequences to insert Oren (and sometimes his family) so that it looked like each one was a show about him.

Both men and women see themselves differently than others see them. After a number of men sit with a forensic artist and strangers describe those same men, they realize that they often see themselves as being more attractive than they might actually be.
