If you’ve never tried Hint water, I actually feel sorry for you. And that’s coming from someone whose ex warned her that she’d end up with kidney stones if she didn’t start to drink more water. Thankfully, I never did get those kidney stones, but I did stop exclusively drinking iced tea and coffee – and boy, do I wish I made this switch sooner.

Like most people, I knew that I should be drinking the recommended eight cups of water per day. But for some reason, unbeknownst to me, I just couldn’t get myself there. And I know I’m not alone when I say I rather quench my thirst with something tasty than I would with boring ol’ water. That was until I discovered Hint, anyway.

What is Hint water?

Hint is flavored water that doesn’t contain any sugars or artificial sweeteners – so, basically, it’s all the good stuff without any of the bad. Looking for an explanation? Well, we’ve got one.

According to Hint, “Individual essences and extracts are obtained from plant sources (like fruits, vegetables, and spices), using a variety of ancient culinary techniques that separate the flavors we want from the sugar, color, pulp, and other components that we don’t.” So you get to refresh with a tasty beverage without having to worry about MSG, GMOs, calories, and/or whether or not it’s vegan.

Tasting Hint

I can already sense your skepticism – and to be honest, I was pretty hesitant about it when nine cases showed up on my doorstep. “A flavored water with no sugar or artificial sweeteners??? It’s gotta taste like crap or someone’s lying!!!” Turns out, I was wrong.

After drinking nothing but Hint for two weeks, I can absolutely say that this stuff is awesome, and lemme tell ya, I feel great. This comes as no surprise, since drinking more water is tied to a copious amount of health benefits. A number of which I can vouch for; I have more energy, fewer headaches, overall I feel more alert (oh, and now I pee like 50x a day).

Plus, with over a dozen flavors to choose from, Hint makes it easy to increase how much water you’re drinking daily. So far, I’ve only had the peach, pineapple, watermelon, blackberry, cherry, and green apple flavors and they’ve all been really good. Some are definitely packed with more flavor than others (like green apple vs. watermelon) but none of them tasted artificial or overly flavored. Below is a full list of the current flavors, along with my favorites in bold!

  • Watermelon
  • Pineapple
  • Peach
  • Pear
  • Cherry
  • Blackberry
  • Peppermint
  • Raspberry
  • Blood Orange
  • Crisp Apple
  • Strawberry-Kiwi
  • Mango-Grapefruit
  • Pomegranate
  • Lime
  • Cucumber
  • Raspberry
  • Honeydew

And if plain, flavored water isn’t your thing – don’t fret. Hint offers fizzy water and even caffeinated water, too!
