Justin Bieber posts entirely too many face pics on Instagram.
On the contrary, rapper Rick Ross’s fascinating photos of python-skin shoes and shoeboxes full of cash make him an excellent Instagramer, according to filmmaker and popular YouTuber Casey Neistat.
In a video extolling the wonders of Instagram, Neistat explains how he eschews Twitter and Facebook in favor of the photo-sharing community and offers some practical advice on how to use the service.
For Neistat, Instagram’s more about sharing than it is about the photos themselves; a visual representation of life rather than a repository of high quality images.
His “guide to not sucking so bad on Instagram” offers tips like sticking to a theme and not tagging other Instagramers in their own photos. Asking for followers isn’t cool either, Neistat argued.
And, although Neistat’s guide doesn’t specifically mention this, it’s probably not advisable to post photos of weed.
