The music video for Taylor Swift‘s “Delicate” dropped earlier this week, and while Swift’s goofy faces may have captivated most of Twitter, a certain extra stole the show for one California teen.

In the music video, Swift magically becomes invisible for an evening, allowing her to escape the public eye and observe people acting regularly around her. At one point toward the end of the clip, she stands inside an elevator with a woman in an evening gown who applies lipstick while staring right through the Reputation singer. Seventeen-year-old Meg Cheng tweeted some stills from the video earlier this week, explaining that the Lipstick Lady was none other than her mom.

According to Cheng, her 57-year-old mother recently decided to try pursuing acting as a hobby, “mostly for shits and giggles” and ended up landing a pretty glamorous role right out of the gate.

Junko Cheng, the mom in question, mostly seemed pumped that her 17-year-old actually thought she was cool for once:

Cheng told Billboard that she’d booked the role on the very first day her agency Prestigious Models, which specializes in Asian talent, posted her profile online. She wasn’t aware the music video gig was for Swift until the day she arrived on set at Los Angeles’ Millennium Biltmore Hotel because the role was described as a video shoot for an “unnamed male artist.”

“Imagine my surprise when I sat in the makeup chair and found out it was for Taylor Swift,” Cheng said.
