In a stunning display of post-Olympics bipartisanship, North and South Korea have agreed to host a summit in April, and the rogue state promised to stop nuclear tests if the United States agreed to attend.
The news came after North Korean leader Kim Jong un hosted envoys from the Southfor the first time since he took power in 2011.
According to the Associated Press, the North also said that if their security as a nation was guaranteed, they saw no need to have a nuclear weapons program.
In response to the news, President Donald Trump said that possible progress was being made, but that the U.S. will “go hard.”
Possible progress being made in talks with North Korea. For the first time in many years, a serious effort is being made by all parties concerned. The World is watching and waiting! May be false hope, but the U.S. is ready to go hard in either direction!

Trump has taken a publicly bellicose stance toward the reclusive country since taking office, promising to rain down “fire and fury” and using derogatory nicknames for Kim Jong-un.
