Aly Raisman is suing the U.S. Olympic Committee over abuse by former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar.

Aly Raisman, one of more than 100 women who testified about the abuse they endured, filed suit on Wednesday against the U.S. Olympic Committee for failing to prevent former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar from molesting young athletes.

The lawsuit aims to hold accountable the organizations—and people—who the gold medalist says knew or should have known about Nassar’s abuse. Raisman addressed the lawsuit in a statement, NBC reported.

“After all this time, they remain unwilling to conduct a full investigation, and without a solid understanding of how this happened, it is delusional to think sufficient changes can be implemented,” Raisman said. “I refuse to wait any longer for these organizations to do the right thing. It is my hope that the legal process will hold them accountable and enable the change that is so desperately needed.”

The lawsuit alleges that a USA gymnastics trainer was sometimes present during treatment sessions at Karolyi Ranch, which is the USA Gymnastics National Team Training Center, where Nassar would “digitally penetrate the girls, claiming he was performing ‘intravaginal therapy,’” according to BuzzFeed News.

A male gymnast, Jacob Moore, said in another suit filed Wednesday that Nassar applied “acupuncture to his pubic area” during treatment for a shoulder injury.

In January, Raisman delivered a gutwrenching testimony against Nassar. He was sentenced to 40 to 175 years in prison for sex crimes.
