As people received their tickets on Monday ahead of Tuesday’s event, images of the glaring spelling error began to circulate on Twitter, to much amusement.

Even the GOP’s own Senator Marc Rubio (R-Fl.) joined in the fun.

Meanwhile, Rep. Raúl Grijalva (D-Ariz.) spotted an opportunity to score some easy points and joked that it looked like Education Secretary Betsy DeVos might have been the one “spell checking.”

Not a bad effort by the Democrat lawmaker, but the gaffe is neither the fault of DeVos nor that of the White House—which has made a few hefty spelling slips in the past year. The typo is in fact the fault of the Sergeant at Arms office, which prints and distributes the tickets each year.

A spokesman for the office, speaking to The Hill, confirmed that the error was not fake news but real and that the tickets were in the process of being reissued.

Trump will deliver his State of the Union address to Congress late Tuesday evening.
