It’s animal attacks like these that remind us journalists don’t get paid enough—and that we should leave animals the heck alone.
A chortle-worthy outtake video from a BBC newscast shows reporter Alex Dunlop on assignment at Banham Zoo in Norfolk, U.K., getting totally mobbed by an eager bunch of lemurs. They fly at him from pretty much every direction and nip his fingers.
“I’m at one of the—ow!” he exclaims.
You can almost see on his face the exact moment he thinks, “I don’t get paid enough for this.” It’s around the time a lemur bites him particularly hard on the hand and he goes, “Ow! You little bastard.”

But he keeps a sense of humor about the situation.
“I think this is one of the more enjoyable parts of the job,” Dunlop says in the video. “Counting lemurs.”
