Senior aide to the president Stephen Miller got into a heated exchange with Jake Tapper Sunday morning on CNN. Afterward, he then reportedly refused to leave the set of State of the Union.
Two sources told Business Insider that after Tapper ended the segment, Miller was too agitated to leave.
Two sources close to the situation told Business Insider that after the taping was done Miller was asked to leave several times.
He ignored those requests and ultimately security was called and he was escorted out, the sources said.
The report was corroborated by a CBS producer on Twitter.

“The segment was over and Mr. Miller was politely asked to leave the set multiple times—after refusing to leave, he was escorted out by security.”
The reports come after Tapper told Miller he was wasting viewers’ time during a contentious argument over claims made in Michael Wolff’s explosive new book, Fire and Fury.

However, how you felt about the exchange really comes down to where you land on the aisle. Somehow, both sides are claiming victory. Those on the left gleefully cheered the sheer ownage of Miller by Tapper.
Stephen Miller is trending, for the most glorious reason. Bravo, @jaketapper.

Stephen Miller: Trump “tapped into something magical that is happening in the hearts of this country.” @JakeTapper: “The president has an approval rating in the 30s. I don’t know what magical you’re talking about.” pic.twitter.com/DkaTGbcept

But people on the right watched the interview and saw something completely different.
Is this supposed to divert us from the fact that @jaketapper is a biased hack who cuts off his guests when they don’t say what he likes? https://t.co/Tx1aMz2aun
