Some celebrities have a trademark article of clothing.

Steve Jobs had his turtleneck. Rick Santorum has his sweater vest collection. And Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has been rocking hoodies long before Trayvon Martin protests.

But heavy is the head that wears the hoodie.

“It’s a little known fact but I have the ability to acquire small companies with the sweep of a sleeve,” tweeted @ZuckerbergsHood, a hilarious new Twitter parody account. “Just to clarify…I don’t get what poke means either.”

It’s the brainchild of On Ideas’ social-media strategist Nick Cicero. The Syracuse, N.Y.-native  came up with the idea on Wednesday after noticing chatter online about Zuckerberg’s college style.

Since launching the parody account, @ZuckerbergsHood has collected more than 300 followers and a shoutout from the Wall Street Journal.

Cicero—or should we say the hoodie—took some time to answer some questions about its success.

Daily Dot: What is it with these billionaires and their quirky styles?

“I think it’s a matter of functionality. Imagine spending hours and hours trying to come up with a product that will change how billions of people will interact with each other every day. Albert Einstein had hair, Zuck has a hoodie.”

DD: Buzzfeed would give this a WTF, thoughts?

“I would call it more of a LOL”

DD: How important were you in the creation of Facebook?

“Essential. I’ve been literally there from the start…I’ve got his back.”

DD: Do you think there will ever be a day when Zuck will quit you?

“I hope not. I’d like to be thought of fondly like Mister Rogers’ cardigan, though I have heard I can find a lot of pink hoodies on Pinterest.”

DD: You wouldn’t think a hoodie would have much to say but you’ve really made it work. How do you come up with this stuff?

“People say a lot of things about Mark behind his back…but I’m always listening…especially to the funny comments. I think it’s important to realize that no matter if you’re a billionaire or a bum you can still relate to the hoodie.”

DD: If there was one thing you’d like to tell Zuck, what would it be?

“Keep the net free Mark, keep it open and free for all.”
