In a bizarre saga that appears to have started with a Tinder date, police have found the body of 24-year-old Nebraska woman. They suspect foul play.

Sydney Loofe was reported missing Nov. 16 when she didn’t show up to work. Her body was found Monday afternoon in a rural area about 90 miles west of Lincoln, the Daily Beast reported.

Police have identified two people of interest in the case: 51-year-old Aubrey Trail and 23-year-old Bailey Boswell, a single mom who went on two dates with Loofe the week she vanished.

Boswell and Trail have posted two Facebook videos declaring their innocence as the FBI, Nebraska State Patrol, and Lincoln police have questioned the pair about their involvement in Loofe’s disappearance.

Police kept an eye on Trail because he lived in the city of Wilber, the last known location of Loofe’s phone before it was turned off, the Daily Beast reported.

“They’re chasing us around like dogs,” Trail said in the first video posted to Facebook in a group created by Loofe’s family. “I wish the family the best… I wish Sydney the best. But as far as the police department, fuck you.”

In the same video, Boswell explained that she went out with Loofe twice after meeting her on Tinder. Boswell said they drove around smoking marijuana and “hit it off” before Boswell dropped Loofe off at a friend’s house.

“I gave her my number. We were planning to go to the casino that weekend,” Boswell said. “I haven’t heard from her since.”

Police said they were still working to confirm those details, according to the Daily Beast.

In a second video—posted Friday before the pair turned themselves into authorities following an arrest warrant accusing Trail of being a felon in possession of a firearm—Trail denied his and Boswell’s involvement in Loofe’s disappearance.

“I do what I do, be it, if I’m a thief, I’m a thief. But I’ll be goddamned, I’ve never killed anyone in my life,” says Trail, who has previous convictions for forgery and issuing bad checks. “I’ve never hurt a female in my life. So take that for whatever the hell it’s worth.”

Police said that because of the videos, they believe Boswell and Trail were the last people to see Loofe alive.
