Weeks after announcing she was “waiting to feel less angry” before weighing in on the Harvey Weinstein case, Uma Thurman has released what seems to be the first of a series of statements.

Thurman wished fans a happy Thanksgiving in an Instagram post Thursday, listing all the things she is grateful for this year. Among them? “Those who have the courage to stand up for others.”

“I said I was angry recently, and I have a few reasons, #metoo, in case you couldn’t tell by the look on my face. I feel it’s important to take your time, be fair, be exact, so… Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! (Except you Harvey, and all your wicked conspirators – I’m glad it’s going slowly – you don’t deserve a bullet).”

The actor worked on seven films with Weinstein over the years, including Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bill series, and included a picture of herself as the Bride from Kill Bill in the post.

Dang.

Thurman ended the caption with “stay tuned,” so it’s safe to say the Golden Globe winner plans on weighing in again at some point.

As Mashable points out, a 1989 interview with Thurman in Rolling Stone did the rounds recently, featuring her thoughts on the treatment of women in Hollywood 30 years ago. At the time she said she felt like “the prey” in the industry. It seems like the tables may be turning.
