  • In Season 3 of AMC’s Breaking Bad, a pair of twin assassins are set on Walter White. Actor Luis Moncado plays one of those twins, and his real-life story is possibly more interesting than the cold-blooded killer he plays on TV. “Before acting I was in a Gang, Got shot, stabbed, Went to prison, Married a Parole Officer, turned into an Actor, Did motivational speaking for trouble youth, I’ve competed in Muay Thai & Boxing. “Check out his AMA here. • Well, that didn’t last long. r/fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu‘s month-long no-moderation experiment has ended after about one week. “We did learn many valuable lessons, such as that no community can moderate itself,” F7U12’s creator, Poromenos, writes. (/r/fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu)

  • “I’m 60 years old. My son recently told me about Reddit. I like it but don’t understand much of the terminology. I have a lot of music that I put on my computer and would like to make use of it to make ring tones for my cell phone. Can this be done? How?” That’s the title of the top post on r/AskReddit this morning. Seems like a joke, though hardly anyone commenting has caught on. But, hey, at least it inspired some redditors to create a glossary of common Reddit slang. (/r/AskReddit)

  • Redditors are ratcheting up the anti-Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) campaign. As with the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), they’re posting names of companies that support the controversial legislation. One of these is Facebook, and some are already promising to delete their accounts. “They need to be the new GoDaddy,” Superdopamine writes. Does this have any hope of catching on like that successful boycott? (/r/technology)

  • It’s quite predictable: Music in major keys makes us feel joyous, and music in minor keys makes us feel solemn. Is this a cultural or biological response? r/askscience debates. (/r/askscience)

  • This Slate article about the tribulations starting a coffee shop may be old, but the discussion it generated at r/TrueReddit yesterday is quite interesting. My takeaway? Don’t ever try to run a coffee shop. (/r/TrueReddit)
