Don’t mess with Gal Gadot.
After publicly announcing that she would turn down her role as Wonder Woman if alleged sexual harasser Brett Ratner‘s company remained attached to the project, Gadot confirmed that the disgraced producer will not be involved in the sequel.
On the Today Show Thursday, the action star explained that Warner Bros. has ended its co-financing deal with Ratner’s production company RatPac-Dune Entertainment—much to the relief of her coworkers.
She explained to NBC’s Savannah Guthrie, “The truth is, there’s so many people involved in making this movie, it’s not just me, and they all echoed the same sentiments. You know what I mean? Everyone knew what was the right thing to do,” adding that it was “already done.”

As of this writing, Ratner stands accused of sexual misconduct by six people, including actors Olivia Munn, Jamie Ray Newman, and Natasha Henstridge. Last week, Ellen Page released a statement that Ratner verbally abused her and outed her on set when she was 18 years old. Warner Bros. and Ratner parted ways earlier this month, but the statement read like it might have been Warner Bros.’ idea.
