In YouTube Right Now, the Daily Dot looks at videos that catch our eyes, push our buttons, and move our dials—and that you’ve just got to watch. Right now!
This YouTube user’s idea of reaching for the stars isn’t what you’d expect.
In a vertigo-inducing video, released on Monday and titled “Reach for the star vol.3,” a man climbs Russian skyscraper Kotelnicheskaya Embankment Building—allegedly without safety gear. The Soviet-era building stands at 577 ft. tall, measuring to the tip of the star emblem on the top.
“This is the most dangerous thing I’ve ever MADE in my life,” wrote the climber in the video description. “Please don’t repeat under any circumstances!”
The video has over 116,000 views on YouTube, thanks in no small part to a Reddit post that received more than 1,000 upvotes.
“My palms are now sweaty and I feel a little light headed,” said a comment on Reddit that received over 200 points.
This is not the first time the climber has performed such a stunt.
Several other videos uploaded by the same YouTube user show the person making similar climbs, including these two impressive videos.
However, these feats of daring are nothing compared to the ascent of the 1,768-foot Guided Tower without safety gear by maintenance workers.
Check out your palms after watching.
