“Dad bod” craze aside, beer bellies are not typically considered cool. Likewise fanny packs.

Although maybe, just maybe, if you combine two uncool things, you end up something super cool. But you can decide for yourself. Behold, the DadBag. Don’t worry it’s not (quite) as bad as the name implies.

Yeah. That’s right. It’s a fake beer belly that’s actually a fanny pack which, depending on your sense of humor, is either hilarious or disgusting.

The DadBag fanny pack, or bum bag, as they’re known in the U.K., was created by British artist Albert Pukies.

“I made the DadBag because I’m desperate to have a dad bod but I’m also very concerned about the health risks associated with it,” Pukies told Metro. ‘The solution is quite simple, a bumbag with a proper dad belly printed on it. Now I can put on a dad bod whenever I feel like it and even store my valuables in it.”

Unfortunately, the DadBag isn’t for sale just yet, although Pukie is talking to manufacturers and considering a Kickstarter campaign. Meaning its fate is currently unclear. Will you soon see people walking around your town sporting a fake hairy belly, or will the DadBag suffer the same fate as the Scrote’n’Tote and remain forever an unfunded dream?
