Oktoberfest is right around the corner and beer lovers everywhere are already preparing for the best/worst week of their lives. Drinking beer: good. Getting beer and puke on your shoes: bad.

Shoe manufacturer Adidas which is, after all, a German based company, has decided to step up (pun intended) and help this year by offering a new sneaker. The limited-edition Oktoberfest München is specially designed to keep your toes dry while the rest of you gets sloshed.

Adidas claims the shoes have a special DPBR (Durable Puke & Beer Repellent) coating, which, as clever as it might sound, is probably just the same water resistant coating available on a lot of leather footwear.

Still, these are pretty cool-looking shoes. They also feature fancy Lederhosen-inspired stitching.

A red-and-white checkered lining to match those tablecloths you see at every beer fest.

And the word “prost” on the side, which means “cheers” in German.

It even comes with the special beer mug, which, given the $200+ price tag, seems like the least they could do.

Of course, if you really want to keep beer and vomit off your shoes, you could try drinking in moderation and not dancing the polka on top of tables.

Yeah, maybe get the shoes just in case.
