Here at the Daily Dot, we have an unofficial tradition of sharing GIF images with each other every morning. Now we’re looping you into the circle. In the Morning GIF, we feature a popular—or just plain cool—GIF we found on Reddit, Canvas, or elsewhere on the Internet.
Almost anything rappers Kanye West of or Jay-Z touch turns to gold. And that also includes GIF animations.
Early Thursday the two released the official music video for “Ni**as In Paris,” the fourth single from their critically acclaimed album Watch the Throne. The video’s a visual spectacle full of flashing lights, thumping beats, and a mirror effect that looks like the “Paris folding” sequence from Inception. West and Jay-Z shot the video during a live performance at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Dec. 13, their last show in the city during their Watch the Throne tour.
While thousands of fans have flocked to YouTube and Vevo to see the video, others have praised two GIF animations created by MTV2 in celebration of its release. So far the animations have collected about 1,000 Tumblr notes.
