drone katana youtube video cut in half

It seems like everyone is trying to figure out how to take down drones. A company in the U.K. made a net-firing bazooka, folks in Kentucky are using shotguns, and the French are training eagles. But none of those solutions are anywhere near as inventive as what YouTuber David Windestal whipped up. Here’s the invention we’ve all been waiting for: a drone-killing, rocket-powered katana.

It’s really the perfect solution for all those times your drone is floating above a rocket-powered katana. As you can see in the video, the rather expensive DJI Phantom quadcopter gets obliterated by the rocket-propelled sword. You know something horrible happened when its annoying buzzing is replaced with ominous silence. The YouTuber was hoping the drone would be cleanly cut in half, but it stopped about a centimeter short.
