The Drive By Dunk Challenge, featuring people stopping their cars to dunk on unsuspecting basketball hoops before racing off, was a viral movement a month ago that seems to have petered into irrelevance. Luckily, Verne Troyer is here to try to resuscitate the movement.
Troyer, best known as Mini Me in the Austin Powers movies, shows up in this video in his tiny electric car, pulls himself out of the vehicle, and delivers the kind of slam that should make any aspiring basketball player proud.

My favorite part occurs after Troyer has successfully completed his mission. He looks at the cameraperson with disdain and hurls the bright red ball at them like he’s trying to singlehandedly win the world dodgeball championship.
Then, he drives off like the boss he’s always been. Our analysis is simple: The Drive By Dunk Challenge probably can’t be saved from insignificance, but if this video is the last gasp of this particular meme, Troyer has done himself—and the world—proud with his performance.
