It’s clear that Rick and Morty fans know how to have a good time, especially when the show gives them such great material to work from. If you need a perfect example, look no further than the awe-inspiring visage of Pickle Rick.

Last week, Imgur user chewitpunchy unveiled his and his girlfriend’s towering artistic achievement, posting a series of photos of a Pickle Rick model they made over the course of about 12 hours. Anyone who appreciates faithful, high-detail, do-it-yourself projects will probably fall in love with this little guy.

As Rick and Morty fans surely know by now―but consider this a spoiler warning if you’re not quite caught up yet―the third episode of the show’s third season rolled out a new look for its eponymous anti-hero. Namely, through the powers of his often-disturbing scientific genius, Rick turned himself into “Pickle Rick,” a decidedly briny version of his former self.

While he starts off the episode as a hapless and basically totally helpless pickle, he goes on to equip himself with an exoskeleton made from the remains of a dead rat. Thus, the dramatic and somewhat grisly appearance you see above. According to the post, the model is a life-sized version of Pickle Rick―which makes sense, given that pickles aren’t that large―and took about half a day to construct, using foil, a wire frame, sculpted clay, and paint.
