The Prince estate and the Pantone Color Institute teamed up to create the official color of the late Prince, released on Monday.

The color, “Love Symbol #2,” is named after the symbol Prince infamously turned into his stage name in 1993. The hue is based on the color of the icon’s custom purple piano, according to a press release from the company. The artist died last year at the age of 57 and is considered one of the most influential musicians of all time. His association with the color purple was cemented after he released his film Purple Rain, in 1984.

According to Pantone, the Prince estate plans to use this color so that it can be “consistently replicated and maintain the same iconic status as the man himself.” Hopefully this means some Prince products and memorabilia in this shade are on the way.
