Reddit is a very haiku-friendly place. There’s even a subreddit, r/haiku_accounts, designed to help users keep track of countless haiku-specific novelty accounts.
Today, however, the haiku challenge went out to every redditor. In the popular section r/askreddit, and eventually on the front page, users tried to compress 2011 into three line, 17-syllable Japanese poems. The list currently includes around 500 haikus. The Daily Dot selected five of our favorites.
