While thousands of people lined the street for Kim Jong-il’s snowy funeral procession, perhaps even more took to Twitter to share their thoughts, and jokes, about the long-time dictator.

Kim Jong-il has been a worldwide trending topic since 5 a.m. EST, collecting more than 13,000 mentions, according to statistics from Topsy, a social media search engine.
