Today we’re checking in with one of the biggest GIF-loving communities out there, Tumblr.
The following Akira-inspired GIF has been making the rounds on the blogging platform, collecting more 1,150 reblogs, likes, and comments in less than an hour on Sunday night. The small monochrome GIF is a stylized scene straight out of 1988 animated film. It features biker Tetsuo Shima crashing his motorcycle into a psychic test subject.
