Hulu live tv cost

Want to know who the hell is watching all those Adam Sandler Netflix movies? Well, you’ll have to wait a little longer, but soon we’ll know more about viewer numbers for YouTube and Hulu.

On Tuesday Nielsen revealed it would start tracking numbers for Hulu’s live TV service and YouTube TV, which could be used as a bridge to advertisers. It seems like Nielsen should have been on this whole streaming thing by now, but apparently it needed networks’ involvement. Now it will have access to ESPN, TNT, FX, Adult Swim, Food Network, and more.

It’s still starting out small. The new initiative applies only to live programming, and the programming must be viewed within a three or seven-day window, so binging The Mary Tyler Moore Show doesn’t count, but you should still do it. Nielsen will track YouTube’s live and on-demand content, as well as YouTube Red originals.
