Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, the 21-year-old currently being charged with attempting to assassinate the president, told Oprah Winfrey in an audition tape he is the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Ortega-Hernandez fired an assault rifle at the White House last Friday, smashing a window. President Obama and his wife were on vacation at the time. Ortega-Hernandez chose last Friday because, according to him, the world was supposed to end on 11-11-11.

“You see Oprah? …it’s not just a coincidence that I look like Jesus. I am the modern day Jesus Christ that you all have been waiting for,” says Ortega-Hernandez as he reads from a notebook.

The 44-second YouTube video embedded above contains footage originally aired on Fox News last night. The footage was given to the Secret Service via Ortega-Hernandez’s girlfriend.

According to Fox News, the audition tape is 45 minutes long and features Ortega-Hernandez ranting “against the government accusing the Feds of waging war for oil.”

Ortega-Hernandez never mentioned President Obama, nor did he make any threats in the video, so “the student and his professor never turned it over to authorities,” said Fox News.

Ortega-Hernandez’s claim that he is Jesus has already been incorporated into a video by Next Media Animation, the Tiawanese company known for mock-reporting American news.
