It is always important to keep your work and pornography viewing separate. You probably already knew that axiom, but if you were in need of a refresher, Rhode Island state representative Ramon Perez is here.

For the Democrat had a screenshot of a web browser, which was open to a work-related tab that he needed to include in a handout. That open tab had several porn tabs next to it. He put the screenshot in the handout, printed it out, and passed it out to his colleagues.

Thus, his House Finance Committee meeting became the subcommittee to uncomfortable discover that their colleague was maybe watching porn. And not just any porn. Perez was distributing a handout that had the Wikipedia entry for the Puerto Rico Automobile Accident Compensation Administration, to discuss a bill he sponsored. According to the Providence Journal, one of the several illicit tabs specifically mentioned the “teen” varietal.

Once the tabs were noticed, a clerk for the committee rounded up the documents.

Ramon apologized on Facebook, and said that the screengrab was not from his computer, but rather that it had been given to him by someone else. He declined to name the supposed guilty party and distributed a new handout without porn tabs.

“It was a mistake, and I recognize that,” he said in an interview.

Honestly, happens to everyone.
