Celtics fan curses

The Boston Celtics lost a heartbreaker last night to the Chicago Bulls, the opening game in what promises to be a close playoff series. The match-up carried a palpable emotional weight: The younger sister of Isaiah Thomas died in a car accident on Saturday, and the Celtics star point guard played through the pain, writing her name, “Chyna” and “RIP LiL SiS” on his shoes. The stadium observed a moment of silence in her honor before tipoff.

Thomas rose to the occasion, leading the Celtics with 33 points, but it was not enough to hold off the Bulls, and it was clearly too much to handle for one fan.

After Jimmy Butler sank the final free throw of the night, securing a four-point lead with only 3.3 seconds on the clock, the camera panned to a kid in one of the first rows—and let’s just say he’s going to be grounded if his parents see the clip.
