Clever kid crafted a cardboard Nintendo Switch after his mom wouldn’t buy a real one

A Japanese fifth-grader protested his mom’s refusal to purchase a new gadget in possibly the coolest way possible.

The kid brother of Twitter user Ama-chan crafted a detailed, life-size Nintendo Switch when his mom said she wasn’t going to buy him a real one. His cardboard portrayal’s interchangeable hardware functions exactly like the real one’s.

Ama-chan says her little brother dreams of being a video game creator one day, so the kid’s on the right path. Nintendo may have a future developer—or a tech rival—on its hands.
