Delete your weather apps, Facebook has you covered

The next step in taking over the internet.

Facebook’s new app will tell you what the weather is like outside while you’re obsessing over the latest on social media.

There really isn’t much to the feature. When you open the app, it will address you with a timely greeting and show you the current temperature and daily highs and lows. Below you will see a short description of the weather outside and a 24-hour timeline with temperatures and conditions. At the bottom sits a simple five-day forecast.

To check if you have the Weather app, just press on the three horizontal bars on the top right of your profile to open up the menu. Scroll down to the “Apps” section and press “See All.” If you see “Weather” in there, you’re in luck!

The Weather app gets its information from the Weather Channel. It is slowly rolling out to desktop and mobile apps worldwide this week.
