Two Netflix original shows and one from Amazon Studios were among the winners at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards, further ensuring that streaming TV shows are here to stay in the realm of awards recognition.

This year’s ceremony saw the combination of TV and movie categories into one night. Although the streaming love was mainly limited to Mozart in the Jungle at last Sunday’s Golden Globes, the Critics’ Choice Awards honored Master of None and BoJack Horseman from Netflix and Amazon’s Transparent; Beasts of No Nation also received a nomination.

BoJack Horseman, which recently finished its second season, beat out the other nominees to win Best Animation Series.

Out of the three winners, Jeffrey Tambor’s win for Best Actor in a Comedy Series is the only repeat; he won the same award last year. In his speech, Tambor thanked the transgender community “for letting me be useful.”

“Change the world,” he said. “It needs it.”

The Best Comedy Series award went to Master of None, Aziz Ansari’s Netflix show that’s sparked plenty of conversations (and reconnections between children and their parents). Although Ansari joked that he always expects to lose, he was grateful to go home with an award—along with the “weird snacks” served at the ceremony. But it was co-creator Alan Yang who offered some biting commentary on the state of storytelling and the lack of diversity in Hollywood.

“Thank you to all of the straight white guys who dominated movies and TV so hard for so long that stories about anyone else seem kinda fresh and original,” he said.
