What is the Ratatouille restaurant?

To the tune of the movie’s theme song, Mar goes on to show quick clips of the chairs that look like they’re made out of bottle caps, huge white plates towering behind booths, and a large menu welcoming guests to Bistrot Chez Remy, named after the rat from the movie.

“When you eat at the Ratatouille restaurant in Disneyland Paris and everything is huge as if you are the rat,” Mar wrote in the video’s text overlay.

The larger-than-life props and decorations are done in an effort to transport patrons to Remy’s world. In the movie, Remy is a rat with big dreams of becoming a chef at an upscale restaurant in France. The idea of the restaurant is to offer patrons the chance to “shrink down to the size of Remy.”

According to Bistro Chez Remy’s website, the restaurant offers a French dining experience “with a Rat’s Eye View.” Patrons are able to sit at tables made out of lids from jam jars with oversized cocktail umbrellas lining the tables. Giant cookbooks and cutlery are scattered throughout the restaurant while huge Christmas string lights dangle from the ceiling.

People are even able to try Ratatouille, Remy’s signature dish that brings him fame and status as a chef in the movie.

Many commenters loved the idea of being transported to Remy’s world and expressed excitement about his Ratatouille-themed restaurant.

“Omg I HAVE to go,” one user wrote.

“‘The rat?’ Don’t you mean the exquisite master chef that led a revolution with nothing but a dream?” another commented.

“Perfect, I am a rat,” one person wrote.
