Maybe that reaction GIF that your brother sent you was just too funny not to send along to your boss, co-workers, grandmother, boyfriend, and tight-knit squad of five roommates. Luckily, figuring out how to forward a text message on your Android device is easy.

How to forward a text message on the Samsung Galaxy S7

Step 1: Tap the Messages icon on the home screen.

Step 2: Tap the messages thread.

Step 3: Tap and hold on the thread you wish to forward.

Step 4: Tap forward.

Step 5: Enter in the name of the contact you wish to forward your message to.

Step 6: Tap “Send” and then tap the back key (on the lower right of your device). Your message will now be forwarded.

Step 3: Tap and hold the message to be forwarded.

Step 4: Tap the “Forward” icon.

Step 5:  If you want to forward the text message to a conversation that is currently ongoing, tap the thread. If you want to forward it to an entirely new conversation, tap the “Add” thread.

Step 6: Enter the name of the contact you wish to forward your message to and tap “Send.” Your message will now be forwarded.
