A Republican lawmaker in California unintentionally sided with Democrats when it came time to vote for the state’s revised budget this week because he was distracted by Facebook.
My wife is right – I can’t multitask! Accidentally voted for Budget while Facebooking against AB 93. The perils of social media #CABudget

Rep. Scott Wilk, who represents the city of Santa Clarita, was able to change his vote to side with his party, but the $117.5 billion spending plan still ended up passing 52-28, CBS Sacramento reports.
Some of Wilk’s followers let the mistake slide, but other were a teeny bit more upset.
@ScottWilkCA If you can’t multitask A) Get a new job where you don’t have to and/or B) Do your damn job instead of dicking around Facebook.
