Olympic swimmer/sex idiot Ryan Lochte’s sponsors have begun pulling out in the wake of his robbery scandal. Today, Speedo USA announced it would no longer be sponsoring the swimmer, and will be donating $50,000 of his fee to a charity for children in Brazil.

Ralph Lauren, which designed the official Team USA uniforms for the Olympics, also released a statement saying it won’t be renewing Lochte’s contract. And most recently, the parent company of Gentle Hair Removal said it would be ending its partnership with the athlete.

The scandal began when Lochte claimed that he and two teammates, Gunnar Bentz and Jack Conger, were robbed at gunpoint during a night out in Rio. However, it now appears Lochte lied about the incident in an attempt to cover up acts of vandalism and drunken violence on their end. Lochte apologized and said he “overexaggerated” his initial claims.

For now, Lochte remains a sponsor of mattress company Airweave. “I respect the athletic performance of Ryan, and as long as he is a respectable athlete, he will remain a U.S. ambassador for Airweave as long as our partnership agreement remains effective,” said Airweave chief executive Motokuni Takaoka in a statement.

If all else fails, perhaps Lochte can seek a hair modeling partnership with Manic Panic.
