BTS’s Suga has finally made his solo debut, and it’s an instant, global smash.
After the announcement earlier this month that the BTS songwriter was finally ready to release a solo project he’d been hard at work on for several years, management company Big Hit posted a link on Monday for the mixtape via its Twitter. It can be downloaded for free.
The first music video for the mixtape has also debuted on the company’s YouTube, which reveals the idol’s name for the project, Agust D. The hashtag quickly trended globally on Twitter after the clip appeared.
The mixtape features 10 tracks, all written by Suga. The lyrics show a side of the rapper that have never appeared in his work before. Fans have already begun to translate the songs into English, revealing lyrics both vulnerable and powerful.

Suga is the second member of BTS to put out a solo mixtape. The first, RM by Rap Monster, was released in 2015 and featured 11 original songs.
