A 16-year-old student at St. Michael’s Grammar School in Melbourne, Australia, is under investigation for allegedly uploading nude photos of high school girls to Dropbox.
This scandal comes only five days after a video of boys rating their formal dates was leaked, and two months after two Brighton Grammar boys were accused of creating an offensive Instagram account that posted photos of underage girls without their knowledge accompanied by lewd comments.
The head of St. Michael’s, Simon Gipson, told The Guardian: “While we cannot comment on action taken, we continue to make all decisions according to our behavioural expectations framework, which is based on our core values of dignity, respect, care, and compassion.”
Gipson added that when the nude photos were discovered, they were immediately reported to the authorities, who are investigating this as a part of a wider pornography ring.
St. Michael’s Grammar is one of Australia’s oldest elite institutions with distinguished alumni including politicians, actors, and Olympic athletes.
