According to the Namibian, the housekeeper has accused Junius of attempting to grab her and kiss her, and that he offered her money in exchange for sex. The site also reports, “Jesse Schickerling, Namibia’s head of delegation, is currently negotiating for the boxer’s release.”
Junius is the second Olympic boxer to be arrested for sexual assault in Rio. Last week, Moroccan boxer Hassan Saada was arrested for assaulting two waitresses at the Olympic Village.
